Also, I know that they have star parties on occasion at Rockport State Park
up past Park City just off I-80. It’s supposedly a certified dark zone for astronomical viewing ands is reasonably close.
In Utah Country, you can look up the Utah Valley Astronomy Club. They have a Facebook page and also try to regularly organize star parties.
