I am overwhelmed with the way I just read a random guy in the UK, choose to follow a University in the US, in a sport that is not well known by the Britts, but had changed his life. He went from social experiment to instant love of the game (football), to loving BYU, watching all the past BYU great games, inquiring about missions, also following the Utah Jazz, to asking for a good Book of Mormon App, and not meeting with the missionaries with a baptismal goal date.
If this is not Sacrament talk material, I don’t know what it. This reminds me of the missionary miracle stories we all hear about when entering the mission field, which seem to big to be true. Great job BYU Nation, BYU Sports, Grizz Father, and all of you who helped Luke feel loved, accepted, and motivated to learn, just by introducing him to the greatest university every and the fanbase that loves what we stand for.

Luke, I hope you are on Cougar Board, and I just want to express my gratitude for sharing your journey with us and the entire world, and unapologetically loving BYU sports (and the Jazz), during the good and bad times. I am seriously touched by just reading through your fun nightly posts about which past and current games you watched, and the level of joy, brotherhood, and genuine love for those you Because chose with through social media, changing all lives in the process. I saw several euro reached out to him, including the Grizz, Coach Sitake, Jarom, Eddie Heckard, and so many others. I may sign up for X, just to follow Luke’s account and journey, and to read all the tweets that I could not see. What a great way to finish my night, thank you for sharing this inspirational story of love, fun, loyalty, and the Gospel.
