IDK if you're a minority or not. I seem to run across a lot more praise for Super Mario Bros 2 than I expect.
I was much more a fan of Mario Bros 3. It was cool how you could have a battle between Mario and Luigi to decide who gets to play as well as the diversity of worlds was pretty cool as well.
