My wife travels for work 2 to 3 times per month.
We get a few packages from Amazon every day.

Whe she's here, she usually brings in things from the garage or porch.
When she's not, it's all on me and there have been too many nights when I've gone to bed at night with packages still on the porch that I didn't notice.
Is expecting me to bring in the near constant flow of packages from the porch too much to ask?
Of course, it isn't. Also, of course, that's the problem.
If it were an unreasonable expectation, I could use that as an excuse for leaving stuff on the porch all night.
As it is, I just feel stupid.

My wife orders things like regular household supplies, clothing, some food items, tools, things she needs for work, etc. Since so much responsibilty falls on her shoulders, because she's a woman and she's married to a guy, she needs to shop online because her work schedule doesn't afford her much time to shop in stores.

Man, I'm worthless.

Yes, it's clear that I'm worthless.

I regularly hang out with cheer moms and my daughter's cheer gym during my daughter's practices. Those moms frequently praise me for keeping everything afloat while my wife is out of town. They act like I"m some sort of superhero. Meanwhile, I'm the idiot who can't do even the most basic shopping or be counted on to bring in all packages from the porch.
