Because cats form emotional bonds with their owners, give affection, and are low
maintenance. They are actually very likeable once you get to know them.
Cats’ biggest flaw is that they (usually) don’t like strangers and are unfriendly or hostile to new people and animals. But to their owners, they are actually pretty ideal pets.
