Growing up, my family would always have a Super Bowl party. My wife’s would not. One year, when we were still newly weds, somehow we ended up over there on Super Bowl Sunday. It was just like any other Sunday, and we were eating I believe a pot roast and potatoes at the dinner table. My father in law, who was serving as a stake president, saw how uncomfortable I was and finally stood up and said, ‘I think I am going to eat in the TV room and watch the game. My mother in law didn’t look thrilled but I was already on my way in following him. It was still the worst Super Bowl Sunday ever for me but at least I got to see the game.
