100% agreed with everything you're saying about how Kody was doing what he was supposed to. But once the ball is released, the best WRs can immediately calculate where the ball is going to land and will adjust accordingly. If the ball is thrown perfectly, they won't need to make adjustments - they'll just stay on their route. But in college football the ball isn't going to be a perfect dime every time...adjustments are going to be required frequently.
Lesson learned here is that you don't throw to Kody if it's going to end up in a 50/50 situation. That's not his skill set. Other guys on the team excel in that space.
