They said it's believed that PAC12 agreed to pay the fees on the 4 schools they wanted from the MWC and anyone else interested would need to pony up the cash. So, not known if true.

They also said that it could be that in 3 years there is another shuffle and it could be that they would have paid the $41MM in vain.

None of this is good for football. It would be kind of sad to see the MWC disappear, but I'm glad to see Boise have an opportunity to grow. I've had a nephew play for them and much family up there that are supporters. They're not the BYU hater types.
