My job mostly consists of arguing over which insurance company is going to pay

More. It’s not fulfilling because I make no contribution to society. If I made a contribution, then I would be okay with challenging. Unfortunately, it’s challenging and I make no contribution. Worst of both worlds. The more time you have to devote to your job the more you need it to give you purpose because you can’t rely as much on other aspects of your life to bring you purpose.
