Just heard about Reflect Orbital, They want to put mirrors in space
So I just heard about a company that has millions in fundraising to put mirrors in space to recreate sunlight anywhere on earth.

They want to put 10 x 10 meter mirrors in space and aim the mirrors at earth to create the effect of sunlight on specific 5 km wide circular area.
Not only does this go 100% against the idea of global warming, as we are redirecting more sunlight at the earth.
But currently we have less than 10,000 sattelites in space, Assume if each of those satellites was a 10x10 meter mirror shining on the same 5 km wide circular area. you are still getting less than 5% sunlight. . . If you thought starlink needed a bunch of sattelites, This system will need about 200,000.

But lets assume it was free to manufacture each satellite, the whole system worked perfectly, none of the sattelites run into eachother, etc, etc. (Chances of success are pretty low getting all of the mirrors to perfectly orient at one location on demand.)

Just launching a sattelite currently costs about $10 million minimum. . . It would cost $2 Trillion to simulate sunlight any ONE place on earth?

I got a better idea, take the money and build 100 solar farms across the world. . . and keep the other 90% for a rainy day.
