Wow that’s a hard question
Going into the season, I thought Fous was my favorite player… he was kind of a disappointment last year….part of that was due to the success of others. Khalifa. You can never ignore what a scoring threat fous is down on the low block, but I think he really struggled last year.

I went to the San Diego State game first and I was very impressed with Jaxson Robinson‘s pure Athletic fluid movements. Robinson had the most talent, but he doesn’t have that mental toughness …. He doesn’t appear to be the guy that says I want it. the only time that it really appeared to me that he really wanted It was in the NCAA tournament game and then it was like kind of maybe ….And it was a little late…. I don’t think he’s wired like that.

In the first half of San Diego State I thought Dallin Hall was a turnover machine. He got better throughout that game and throughout the year….he is really a gamer. Hall is not overly talented. He is tough as nails and he wants it. He is a freaking gamer. He has that mental toughness that you can’t really put a price tag on. Probably the most important player not sure I would say the best player.

Richie Saunders the way he plays and his energy and his willingness to just fill a role, probably my favorite player, but I don’t think he’s the best player. Love the Defense

I was the most fascinated with Khalifa. When I watched him play, I thought they picked him up from one of the church leagues or something. He looked overweight and crippled, but he somehow didn’t play that bad of defense, considering he had no lateral movement, I assumed they were playing him at the top of the key so he could get back on D easier because he couldn’t run, but the dude was like a magician out there …..I could not believe what I was actually seeing. Possibly the most intelligent basketball player in the nation last year…….dude is totally out of shape and crippled and he had a major impact. But yeah, he kind of disappeared with Ramadan

I actually loved a AAAs defense and Dunks
I was shocked that he was not used in the second half of the NCAA tournament game to get a couple of stops

I was very impressed with what I saw from Baker. He looked like a notch above everything that I had seen even though it was a very small sample.

Also Adams was totally out of shape, but you could tell if that dude ever got in shape he may have more talent than anyone on the floor.

Johnson and Knell both had moments where I love them and moments where I really wondered. The one of the hardest things for me to watch is when Pope would bench Knell when he was hot.

I was felt like Waterman was a little bit of a disappointment. But I think he played above his head last year and actually worked very hard, and I was impressed with his determination and the way he battled in there for rebounds.

I don’t think I answered the question.

If I just have to pick one guy, it’s gotta be Kevin Young

Seriously There were so many good players last year… they really overachieved and I’m proud of them.

I went to Allan Fieldhouse. It was a reverent experience starting the morning of the game.

When Dallin Hall hit that step back on Dickinson that is like the pinnacle of sports emotion. You could feel and taste victory….I will never forget it…..to be there with my oldest son just days after he finished his high school basketball career…..he told me that we were going to win the game before it started. I thought he was nuts. I always knew he was a blue goggle BYU fan because his bracket was always screwed up from putting BYU in the final four ever since he was a little kid….. when he got into high school, he quit doing that and started picking Gonzaga.

Singing rise and shout with what seemed like a few hundred BYU fans after the game was something that I will never forget in that building that hallowed wonderful place.
