I remember obsessively following college football stats in the Des News
back then. I really disliked David Klingler, only because he was Ty's competition.
Ty was incredible because, yes, he threw a lot of picks, but you also know we were never really out of it with him in the game. Other memorable performances include the WSU game in 1990 when he led a 35 point comeback in the 4th quarter, as well as the 1991 SDSU 52-52 tie game vs. Marshall Faulk.
