The first two games of the season Jake has hit Ta'ase on the vertical route for a TD on the Vert/Wheel combination out of a 2 TE set. So understandably ARod knew Wyoming would be ready for it. This week ARod called it with Davis running the wheel out of the backfield but added a shallow cross underneath that route combo and the entire side was cleared out for an easy TD. ARod has taken his lumps here over the last year or so, but that was a beautiful call and great game planning.
