Nothing happened - he is trying to do the same thing throwing 5 yard out and crossers and on 3rd and 9 that doesn’t work. Any rookie can come out and throw short, high percentage passes a la Mack Jones and people rave… then professional defenses pick it up and you separate the real QBs who can drive the ball down the field with anticipation and accuracy. That is a special group and why most QBs will fail in the NFL regardless of where they are drafted.

Maybe he picks it up, but I haven’t see anything in Bo Nix that shows he will be a starter in this league in 3 years.
