We had zero running game last year when Slovis was playing and he still did pretty well. I think with any semblance of a running game he would be more than serviceable. He is more accurate and processes faster than Retzlaff IMO. And I trust him more to take care of the ball. I think this is validated by the fact that he was signed as a UDFA. Not a chance anyone takes a look at Retzlaff unless he gets a lot better.
