I really need to quit reading CB before bed. Had multiple dreams about BYU basketball recruiting last night. Details are now fuzzy but we had landed AJ, as he was hanging out in the coaches’ office. I was there, too, and Burgess was showing me their software used to track players and their communication with them. But it wasn’t limited to just players - he proceeded to show how they tracked fans by pulling up my record. It showed an insane level of personal detail including my recent surgeries, food preferences, CB posting history, and all kinds of other creepy personal information. They were sending a flood of “personalized” messages to recruits on behalf of KY which were blowing the kids away with the attention they craved.

So, kudos to whichever CBer, in obvious partnership with El Jefe, who came up with that system in my dreams. It’s freaking creepy, but seems to be working!
