quickly. It's why my Braves lineup is so frustrating given they've got one of the best pitching staffs in baseball right now. Just can't score runs.
I think this series is showing the flaws of both teams very well. The Dodgers can hit, but pitching let them down in the first two games. The Braves got phenomenal pitching (through 8.2 innings) tonight and should have long since put the game out of reach, but the hitting went ice cold as it has all season. I've lost count of how many pitchers have had their best night of the season against these Braves.
The Phillies still look like the most complete NL team, but they've got to start playing consistently again. They still haven't fully found their groove since the all star break.
