Retzlaff sucked last night because he sucked last year.
If you think I'm kidding, I can show you the thread. Two CB posters, at least, openly claim that.

If a guy is slightly off on a pass that is completed, it's a terrible pass because Retzlaff was terrible last year.

I love finding those quirks because they crack me up.

For the record, Retzlaff's gunslinger mentality worries me. I believe he doesn't have the talent to succeed that way.
Regardless, I can see success from him without calling those successes just a different type of failure.
