Visited Hearst Castle yesterday
Learned that at one point William Randolph Hearst owned 240,000 contiguous acres around and north of his home there on the California coast.
That is 375 square miles. About half of the Salt Lake Valley, or a little larger than 9 miles by 41 miles.
