So we excuse individual plays for some guys, but not others
I'm not referring to an overall performance.
If a receiver has to reach back slightly for a ball from Retzlaff, it's evidence that Retzlaff is awfull.
If Purdy ruins YAC by placing a ball high so the receiver has to jump for it, it's fine.
A better sign of Retzlaff"s issues are turnovers.
When we throw non-issues in there, we sound silly.
When we don't like someone, anything is a reason to not like that person.
