the season is so young still, I doubt the avg viewer would be able to objectively rank the FBS more accurately than the flawed Sagarin rankings.

We just haven't witnessed enough teams play enough other teams so far this year. We don't even know where BYU ranks right now objectively, and we've watched all the games, followed their recruiting, watched/read Spring and Fall camp reports, etc.
