Last weekend I put a couple "buy it now" items in my cart on eBay. These were medium price electronic items, a few hundred dollars each. I was pricing things out to see what an upcoming project would cost. I didn't do anything with the cart, just moved on with my weekend and my week. On Tuesday, one of the sellers made an offer for roughly 10% less than what it was listed for (it was already the cheapest one available from a well-rated seller). The offer went to everyone who had it in the cart. I thought that was interesting, but went on with my week. Then just a few minutes ago, a different seller just did the same. About 10% off. Is this common on eBay now? If so, I just need to go add a bunch of stuff to my cart a week before I intend to buy, see if I get an offer.
