That was TCU and it was fake news.
TCU basically refused to sell single game tickets to just the BYU and Texas games. Those who didn't get tickets from the BYU allotment had to go to the secondary market or purchase a mini plan for multiple games through TCU. The university threatened to revoke tickets from season ticket holders reselling on third party sites. It was all empty threats.
