His field vision was so good, pre-injury his arm was plenty strong enough to have gone very far.
After the back & shoulder injuries? Not so much. Which is when DOMAN shoulda benched him.
Riley's far & away biggest flaw wasn't his limited arm. His inability to throw the ball away was his real Achilles' heel.
Riley of the present — were he a coach — I have NO doubt in retrospect would kick is own butt hard as a player. He was too smart a guy to have played as risky & reckless as he often did.
