When I was 18 my friend got hit by a car that ran a red light while he was riding his motorcycle. He almost died, and got a huge settlement (for an 18 year old) of a couple hundo thousand. The dumb crap he blew that money on… and the speed in which he blew it… was astonishing!


I personally think giving 18 year olds fame, and tons of money, is a recipe for disaster; but that’s just the reality of modern college athletics.
