1) I almost always park quite a ways out in the Costco parking lot. After exiting my car, I noticed an older and heavyset gentleman with a cane. He tried to get the attention of a car that was backing out and driving away. I asked him if he needed help. Sure enough, the nice gentleman had gotten lost and couldn’t find his car. I asked him if he had keys. So he pulled out a keychain full of keys, none of them for a car! Then he remembered he had a key fob in his other pocket. I invited him to sit in my truck with A/C and cooling seats. He was very appreciative. Eventually we found the vehicle on the other side of the parking lot. The guy was so kind and so appreciative!

2) The HCBW asked me to pick up some groceries. I was in a hurry because I helped the gentleman and then my attorney called and that lasted the better part of an hour. So, I was out of time and rushing. The second item on the list was two large cheese pizzas for dinner tonight. So I placed my order and then picked up the rest of the items. After checking out, I went and picked up the pizzas, placed them in bottom of the cart, and then headed for my truck. I emptied all the items in the top of the cart and then pushed the cart away from my truck since I park far out so no one was near me and there wasn’t a close cart corral. When I got home, I emptied the truck of the groceries and headed to my next commitment. The HCBW texted me an hour later asking where the pizzas were 😳. I had left them in the bottom of the cart! Some fortunate person got two free pizzas!
