When the Utes went to the Final Four in San Antonio that year, my dad and my brother were able to get 2 tickets through the U (this same brother was a student there at the time). When they got back my dad told us that when they were walking through the Alamo Dome hallways Jim Nantz was walking nearby and stopped them. He said he had access to a few extra tickets and was looking for a father - son duo who could use them. Really cool gesture.

It killed me when I heard this later because we could only get 2 tickets at the time I didn't get to go.
