Not sure. It’s a lot of travel to be in the PAC 12, and the TV contract isn’t
completed anyway, so who knows what the money would be. I’m not sure the PAC 6 is better than the American right now. Eastern teams draw a lot more eyeballs, so I’d probably want to stick with the American if I was them. South Florida, East Carolina, and the other AAC teams in the south will probably draw more money long term.
My picks would be UTSA and Texas State first for the PAC 6, then AFA and UNLV.
Truth is these are all pretty sad options. The PAC 12 won’t be a P5 conference. They have G6 written all over them.
