Even transactional work is a lot of counseling, which I don’t think AI can do.
But, I agree that trial work is probably beyond what AI can do. Can you imagine a judge trying to respond to repeated objections of an AI and then trying to hold a robot in contempt? I don’t see the law allowing representation in court by anything other than a human being.
