Hahah, it's pretty irreverent teen-level humor and stuff. Not typical Star Trek. But it actually has TONS of
call-backs and trivia. Pretty good stuff.
Prodigy (now on Netflix) is also very good, once you get past the first few Nikolodean style kiddie-episodes. More serious and classic Trek style than Lower Decks, but very good Star Trek.
I'm assuming you've already watched Strange New Worlds.
