Do you think Cal and Stanford end up back there eventually?
I have spoken to a Cal booster who is thrilled to join the ACC and attend many East Coast games. But I have to think that wears off by year two or three.
And Cal and Stanford don't even get any ACC money until year 3, right?
So perhaps after 3 years of no conference money and all the extra travel they head back to the West and act like it was a win for them?

I believe they saved the last spots for teams that would get them in the discussion as a power conference.
