Over the years I have read posts by fellow Cougar fans that have lost loved ones. The stories about losing children have always hit me. Sadly I am now part of that team. One of our twin boys was BASE jumping in Europe that last couple of weeks. On Tuesday he was jumping with his wing suit near Lake Como. We don’t know what happened but he impacted the ground and didn’t survive. I can’t describe the heartache. Most of the time I am fine but then it hits me like a semi truck. He was a great kid and wonderful brother and an incredible son. Fourth generation BYU grad! Hug your kids. Tell them that you love them. Go Cougars! Phil
