The updated 247 rankings for ‘25 and ‘26 classes got me thinking.

I have to look back at the data vs Pope era but we have SIXTEEN offers (15 ex Maximo Adams who was a Pope offer) to top 150 recruits in ‘25 and ‘26 (full list in a post from yday).

This was just not in my “expected outcomes for the new coaching regime” when Pope left.

Obviously the goal is to LAND recruits and not just give offers but you gotta be in it to win it and we just had our best recruiting class in history.

Hoops season can’t come fast enough.
