living away from home. They go to institute and church, and then stay up late in coed dorms and talk about life.
One thing that seems to dominate their thoughts are all the rules at BYU. They are dumbfounded that you can't wear sandals, go into a dorm of the opposite sex, and that church isn't just on Sunday, it's like at school too. They think the rules are so stupid, and that anyone who goes there must also be stupid, or some kind of religious zealot who doesn't play with face cards or watch the Simpsons.
Oh and if someone breaks a rule, someone like Brandon Davies for example, suddenly the rules themselves are no longer stupid, but their focus turns into the PROOF they see that not even BYU students follow the rules, so BYU is no different or special at all because they just say they have high standards, but don't really live them.
And they concoct stories like BYU basketball avoiding playing in Logan. Stu Morril got them really worked up over that one time, because they wanted to play a game in salt lake I think. Stu just knew he needed a lot of home games to pad the win column.
