Oooo! Touch chart! . . .
And my point is every d coordinator knows who the preferred receiver option is (and they’re radioing that down) and have a general idea of route concepts and layering to try and get guys open that the offense will try.

Collins, specifically talked about it in the postgame interview about his reception. When the d takes things away, there’s only so much you can do to disguise who is the preferred option to get the ball to is.

At some point you have to make the smart read and get the ball to the open guy.

Most of our receivers catch open balls (most of the time). Yes, ideally you want to identify and get the ball to guys a certain number of times but does a bubble screen or tunnel screen for 1 to 3 yards to guarantee a guy gets a touch really what we want here?

If the run game was working great and we could play action to them then yes you’d see more touches to your guys that are gonna go make a chunk play but time times you gotta move the chains and that means who’s open for short to intermediate?

Stop pretending like you’re a college coach. Yes everyone gets a voice, but stop assuming you know more than Arod, Doman, Chow, etc. because odds are you don’t. But please, tell me how I’m wrong.

Was that enough paragraphs for everyone?
