You go back and look at look at your star QBs in the 90's and TD-Int ratio was very different than what you've seen over the past 10 years. Ty won a Heisman with basically less than a 2:1 ratio while Bo Nix did not with a 15:1 ratio. The game puts a much higher premium on ball security than it did when Ty was around. Trying to pull Steve Young and Ty Detmer stats in don't hold water because they were remarkable in their own time, but the TD: TO ratios wouldn't hold up in todays game
