I have family in Chicago. We actually still went to Chicago because I had already booked the flights. We still had a good time visiting fam. But I would have normally scheduled a visit during the summer when Chicago is lovely. Chicago in October is…not ideal.

And the Cougs woulda whooped em too. NIU went 0-6 that year. Instead I watched a pathetic game against Texas State that was an absolutely snooze fest. There were a lot of terrible games that season. And I’m not even sure why the MAC went woke and only played games within their conference. But even more so I’m not sure why we didn’t play Utah State that season. We managed to play SDSU and Boise State. We woulda whooped them too, in LaVell.
