Flew into split and spent a couple days there,
Then rented a car and did an overnight at plivice lakes. It was amazing, not to be missed.
Took the ferry to Hvar- Spent 2 nights there. Rented E-bikes and rode all over the island. Better than scooters in my opinion. Also there is an awesome restaurant at the summit of the island
Then Ferry to Dubrovnik- Spent 3 nights there. Also really good but I think I liked Split better

I would totally recommend. Super safe, clean and everyone spoke english. Food was great. It was an amazing trip.

Random story, we were driving back from plitvice and stopped at the Klis fortress overlooking Split. I looked up and saw someone wearing BYU gear which was interesting, and then we saw the entire BYU womens soccer team coming down the stairs. I guess they were there playing some exhibition games prior to the season.

BM me if you want any details. We got some awesome airbnb in split and dubrovnik that were in great locations and relatively inexpensive. The host in split even picked us up from the airport.

I would recommend going in the shoulder seasons. It can get really busy in summer. We went in May and it was great.


If I were to add some more time I would think of visiting Mostar or Montenegro from Dubrovnik.
