I came across this thread on the SMU message board (before the game on Saturday).

We all know Aggie Andee guy is super weird, but I'm starting to wonder if he's really an Aggie fan or if he's a BYU or Utah fan trying to make USU look like a clown school. Nobody is actually this stupid, right? 


AA: "I hope you crush the ever living life out of BYU. I'm the biggest fan of any team playing BYU this year since they refuse to play us because they know the Aggies would win. BYU makes fun of everyone else and they think they're so much better. I see Cougar fans still bragging about some game against you in the 1980s. What a joke they still bring that up."

Random SMU Fan: [Obviously clueless that Utah State even exists] I believe SMU is a big zero against BYU. Nothing would please be more than to win against them this year at home. FYI, I loved playing at Kyle field., Aggie fans were the best when we played decades ago ..."

AA: "Yes I'm a Utah State fan. BYU and my Aggies played each other for decades and decades and about 15 years ago Utah State took control of the rivalry and started beating BYU on a regular basis. So BYU got sick of losing and cancelled the series for good. They are a bunch of cowards and deserve to lose every game they play. I like SMU and especially now with NIL we know you did nothing wrong in 80s and were totally unfairly persecuted. Nobody would be surprised anywhere if BYU was behind NCAA going after you somehow."

AA: "Just a friendly reminder to please destroy BYU this week. These snobs think they’re so great and so much better than anyone else. Did you know they are already saying the BYU quarterback will win Heisman this year. I also heard the Big 12 was looking at SMU but BYU took the spot. SMU needs to get payback on these bums for all of us."

AA: "I hope the plan works and you beat their butts! [OK - so we now know he's LDS] BYU fans still think they are the team of Jim McMahon even though it was almost 50 years ago. The QBs they have for years are bums. Utah State is the school now where all the great NFL QBs come from in Utah and it eats at BYU fans like crazy. Jordan Love is a better QB to ever come out of BYU. I was upset when I didn’t go to BYU but ended up happy later. [And now we know why he's so bitter towards BYU - LOL!] I dodged a big one there and didn’t realize how bad that school and all the fans are until I got to Utah State. They’ve been annoying before but at least Utah will play us and the Ute fans aren’t all high and mighty."

Random SMU Fan: "Aggie Dweeb aside, it should be an interesting matchup. BYU has to be better this year or the coaches could be toast and SMU gets a new conference. Both teams have a lot to prove."

AA: "When BYU wins their game it means they cheated. Their defense too was so dirty against you. BYU constantly trying to take out QBs like they always did against the Aggies. All college football programs should come together and never play BYU again."
