Is governments have taken action to curb drunk driving. They have made penalties stiffer, they implement DUI checkpoints, and have public ad campaigns regarding ride share, designated drivers etc. Unlike, school shootings, I’ve never seen a VP candidate say drunk drivers are just a fact of life. A better example would be the lack of concern over texting and driving, you see it everyday.
