Some Real estate properties have been liquidated and some distributions to kids (K1 from the estate) go out every year or two.
Even though the estate is under the threshold for having the estate tax, Is this still realized income that gets taxed on personal returns to each of the adult children? (Use 80K for this example).
If so, can the estate give gifts to grad children to avoid the taxes?
