I'll never understand why they didn't go after another RB1 in the portal. Those RB's were there in the portal to go after, but they "like the guys we have." It's a major strategic mistake that took all of 5 quarters for it to become a problem.

LJ Martin has all the potential in the world to be great, but he can't stay healthy. Everyone after him wouldn't be on most P4 depth charts. It's baffling why they were so stubborn not going after another RB1. Makes zero sense.

I'm sure some will thumbs down this or disagree and that's fine, but with a ridiculously precarious QB situation we needed more oomph in the backfield and after Martin it's not there.
