Coach Roderick seem to be unable to use the tools he has effectively. It's clear that our running game still isn't strong but Roderick keeps running on 1st and 2nd down and then passes on 3rd and long. Back in the day, BYU would pass to set up the run. Last night, the Rams were passing to set up the run against Detroit. If we have such good receivers, why not use them more in the pass game hoping that it would open the run game? I'm asking for a friend.
