After watching the game again, the second pick was more about unfortunate timing
Than poor decision-making. The DT fell to the ground and out of sight at the outset of the play. He pops up just as Retzlaff releases the ball and its right to him. I doubt Retzlaff releases that if the DT is up and visible the entire play.
