comparison, I came up with Steve Sarkisian. Sarkisian didn't look fantastic at the beginning of his junior year. The team didn't even make a bowl game that year. He did put it all together right at the end of the year and had a phenomenal game against Fresno State in the last game of the year. Then, 1996 was awesome. A little patience may pay off.

I'm not saying Retzlaff will end up being Sarkisian 2.0. But CB in its current form would have been ripping early 1995 Sarkisian.
