I said this yesterday, but on that third down play we had the play set to the outside, a lineman pulled to lead the block, all he had to do was follow and it was an easy first down, maybe even a TD.

Instead he decides to cut into where the defense was, slow as molasses, and doesn’t get the first down. Then we get blown up on the 4th down attempt.

If Ropati just follows the play design that’s an easy first down. That sums his runs up all night. Constantly missing the holes and being slow to hit the open space.

I’m on the Davis train now. Give him the ball and see what happens. Can’t be worse than what Ropati is doing and at least Davis has legit speed.
