Why are you quoting last year's SMU record to show how good this year's team is?
Very different teams. Last year they were 11-2 in the regular season.
This year they're going to struggle to become bowl eligible. They're basically on equal footing to BYU...fringe bowl game teams, thats why it was such a close game. Both teams have major deficiencies.
