I went to a scrimmage & multiple practices during fall camp and Hillstead stood
...out amongst the group. And honestly, Retzlaff looked like a clear #3 to me-- I was kind of baffled when I found out he was the starter.
Go back and look at my comment history and confirm.
During one of the scrimmages, Hillstead had a total of probably 10 plays (Retz and GBo had prob 40 each). Hillstead drove the team down for two TDs on his only two drives, including multiple long 25-30+ yd completions.
Retz had 1 out of probably 4 or 5 drives and GBo had 2 TDs on his 4-5 drives from what I remember.
