I know you’re joking, but here’s the mighty teams that shut them down…
Idaho
Tulane
Utah
Northern Arizona
Sam Houston
Baylor
Illinois
Mississippi State
Oklahoma
So, a few good names in there, 1 FCS, 3 G5s, and mediocre Illinois and Baylor teams.
I’d put the SMU defense 4th out of the 9 played in that list, not exactly a gauntlet.
