IMO, for what it’s worth,
it wasn’t targeting. Batty hit him extremely hard in the shoulder. His head snapped back because of the power of getting hit by a guy weighing 280 at full speed. Vicious hit, but legal.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the SMU QB was concussed after the hit.
